Tram Road Reopened 10 Days Ahead of Schedule

Tallahassee - The following is an update on construction activities for the Capital Circle Southeast (Tram Road to Connie Drive) roadway improvement project. Due to good weather and a strong effort by the project construction team, the intersection of Tram Road from east of Capital Circle to Four Oaks Boulevard has reopened 10 days ahead of schedule.

Construction of the $36 million project began in May 2005 and is scheduled to finish in early 2008. However, weather, underground utility conflicts or other unforeseen circumstances could delay or prolong construction activities.
